Wayne and Jackie Harris moved to Orange when Wayne was offered the position as Regional Manager of Hansen Yuncken. They have been here for three years and have two children, Sam age 6 and Mitchell age 9.
The easy access to facilities and services with less time spent in the car all make Orange a great balance between work and lifestyle according to Wayne and Jackie who relocated to Orange in 2008.
The family are actively involved in sports activities, and with Wayne being the Regional Manager for Hansen Yuncken, he knows personally how good the new hospital is in Orange with Hansen Yuncken being the Design and Construct contractor for the entire facility.
“The quality of education on offer in Orange is a great benefit for moving and staying here in Orange” Wayne said.
Wayne and Jackie agree that moving to Orange was one of the best decisions they have made as a family. They are able to spend more time with each other and have the opportunity to eat dinner together and talk about their day. Wayne particularly appreciates being able to watch the children perform or go to events during the school day, and both have found the people so friendly and welcoming. The short distance to Sydney ensures that they have never felt out of the action as it’s still so easy to get there.
