Services + Facilities

Our community service providers are dynamic, proactive and always looking for ways to improve the service and facilities in the city of Orange.

Orange is lucky enough to be able to provide a large variety of health, medical, community, cultural, sporting and recreational facilities for our diverse community.

Our council and service providers are dynamic and proactive. We are always looking to expand the ways in which we can service the community and its environs.

With our expansion as the medical hub outside of Sydney, the ever-expanding gold mine and the large retail, waste and accommodation developments currently occurring in the area, providing the right services and facilities is a high priority for the city council and service providers in the community.

No need to go to Sydney to see a medical specialist – you can visit the newest hospital in Australia right here in Orange with specialists on-site for all your medical needs.

Our brand new medical hospital facility is being touted as one of the best in Australia. A new shopping centre for a number of retailers is currently being built in the north of Orange with another in the city centre. Charles Sturt University is rapidly expanding with rural health and dentistry schools currently based in Orange, and a current proposal with the federal government for approval for a medical school to open in early 2012. We guarantee that Orange facilities and services are second to none.

With over 130 recreational clubs and groups to join, beautiful natural surrounds for all to enjoy, a plethora of sporting and recreational grounds across the city, Orange is a place where all your needs are provided for.
